THE SLENDER LACY SCARF AND WINTER FASHION

This Winter Fashion event runs from the 8th to the 19th of September 2024 and gives you a chance to buy these beautiful patterns at just $2 each. Twelve of us global designers have come together again with a one time offer on our selected patterns. They are available at this price for the entire duration of the event. Take a detailed look at all the patterns below and you will also find the link to the other designers pages. Show us all some love and encouragement! All you need is a code to be able to purchase them. Read till the end of the post to find the code.

My featured pattern is the Slender Lacy Scarf. At one of those rare times when I was between a few testing projects and custom orders, I was dabbling with some thin yarn. Using a mix of stitches, the yarn and hook seemed to have a mind of their own and it started to transform into a skinny scarf! The simple two row repeat was mindless enough and the scarf grew in no time. And then as is wont to happen- the scarf got put away albeit with the notes jotted down. A short while later, using the same base pattern, I designed my first actual wearable - the Beach Breeze Cover Up (read more about it here). This pattern was well received and was a great personal success. I felt it was unfair that the 'mother-pattern' got left behind, so here it is!

The Slender Lacy Scarf is just as it's name. A skinny scarf that can be scrunched up and wrapped around your neck. Make it to any length you want and for any age group. The sample has been made in a single colour but a graded yarn would also look lovely. The pattern is a simple two row repeat and works up quickly - great for a last minute gift.
