My featured pattern is the Ryu Wrap. While at the meet for the Worldwide Knit in Public Day, I was toying around with some yarn and in the midst of all my creative friends, the pattern came to life. There was some frogging and thoughts of how to make it better, all over cups of coffee and lunch. The pattern seemed to progress on it's own and I was pleased with the outcome. It has a picot border that is worked entirely along with the rows- which means once you are done crocheting there is no working on the edging and the wrap is more or less ready. Add a tassel and it is all set.

The Ryu Wrap is an asymmetrical wrap and can be draped in many different ways. Perfect for a cool evening, light enough to carry and toss over your shoulder. The wrap resembles a dragon's tail and hence named Ryu- the Japanese name for dragon. Click on the picture for the link to the pattern. Don't forget to collect the code from the end of the post.
